A plan for obtaining MT&R shows (PLEASE READ)

As many of us already know, the Museum of Television and Radio has copies of a number of GS eps currently not avaliable in trading circles or anywhere else.  These require $750 per show for dubbing charges, plus written permission from the copyright holder.  I was wondering if we as a group could take up a collection to pay for the dubbing charges, and someone who lives in or near NYC could collect the contributions for the dubbing charges. MT&R does have 2 Wollery WoF's which I am especially looking for, among other shows!

Any thoughts?

Only that you are completely and totally HIGH on CRACK if you're prepared to give the MT&R $750 to dub a tape for you. Especially for a goddamned WOF. I mean, I'd laugh at you if it was something RARE, too, but there are eleventy billion episodes of WOF available out there, the tape fiends do not need two more.

First Chris, look who you're talking to.

This is indeed an asinine idea.  Why the hell would anyone want to pay into a fund?

Besides, who's Chuck Wollery anyhow?

 Didn't he leave Wheel?

Sorry, I have to agree with the above folks. Your idea is noble but it's really not worth the time, effort or price.

There are already 2 eps of Woolery WOf in the circuit (Well 3 if you want to count the clips of his last show) and they're good eps too !

I know a cheeper way to dub an episode... have a good memory !

You're both wrong. He hosted Family Fued.

Another flight to Clueville departs without one of its first class passengers.

And everybody knows Wollery left Scrapple.

Well, I've been following Wollery's career since he began and I know he never hosted "Gredd"

With all due respect, I must sound the CS01 "WHOOSH!" for you.  As you can see, Wollery is a common misspelling of Chuck's last name, just like I've seen "FEUD" commonly misspelled as "FUED," hence my comments.

Now I know how Dennis Miller feels. (ObGameShow: he taped his former HBO show in Studio 33 and uses a game show buzzer on his CNBC show.)
